Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your accommodation at Forest Hill Hotel. If time permits, you may enjoy a guided exploration of Arusha city, including stops at the famous Cultural Heritage Centre, vibrant local markets, and the bustling Maasai Market, giving you a taste of Tanzanian culture and artistry before your safari begins.

After an early breakfast, your safari begins with a scenic drive to the Ndutu region, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is where the southern Serengeti ecosystem hosts massive herds of wildebeest and zebras during calving season. With its short grass rich in essential minerals, Ndutu is a haven for mothers and their newborns. It also provides excellent visibility, allowing herbivores to detect predators from afar. Spend your afternoon immersed in wildlife encounters, watching newborn calves take their first steps, and observing predators like lions and cheetahs on the hunt. Dinner and overnight will be at your safari lodge or tented camp.

Start your day with an early morning game drive across the Ndutu Plains. This is a prime time to see action-packed wildlife activity, from grazing antelope to stalking big cats. After a picnic lunch in the bush, you’ll depart for the Ngorongoro Crater rim. The 75 km journey offers beautiful scenery and possible wildlife sightings en route. You’ll reach your accommodation near the crater in time for dinner and a relaxing evening surrounded by breathtaking highland views.

On the final day of your adventure, set out before sunrise for a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most unique ecosystems. This natural amphitheater is home to a high concentration of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, hyenas, elephants, buffalos, hippos, and more. Spend the morning exploring the crater floor on a thrilling game drive, capturing photos of the stunning scenery and rare animal sightings. Around midday, you’ll begin your ascent out of the crater and start your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. Depending on your travel plans, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or transferred directly to the airport.
