Itinerary
It’s time to begin your safari. Welcome to Tanzania! After we greet you and provide you with the trip briefing, we’ll take you out to help you discover why so many people think Tanzania is the best place in Africa to go on safari. You never forget your first view of Arusha National Park, with Mt Meru – one of the Rift Valley’s most beautiful mountains – rising above it. Once you get to know it a little better, you’ll also enjoy the wildlife – giraffe, zebra, buffalo and birdlife, with sightings of elephant and hippo possible too. There’s also Ngurdoto Crater, which they sometimes call ‘Little Ngorongoro’, such is its resemblance to the world-famous crater to the west. Scenery being the main attraction is a nice alternative to the more wildlife-focused parks elsewhere.
Walking safari, Arusha National Park
Come with us on a walking safari, where you’ll enjoy the thrill of stepping out into the African wild with an experienced guide. Although you won’t be watching the animals from a vehicle, it’s still very safe, and it’s a priceless opportunity to feel really connected to the animals you’ll see and the landscapes you’ll explore in a whole new way. Famous for its vast elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and breathtaking landscapes, Tarangire offers an unforgettable wildlife experience. The park is home to a diverse range of animals, including lions, leopards, giraffes, and over 550 bird species. The Tarangire River, a vital water source, attracts large concentrations of wildlife, especially during the dry season. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast or a first-time safari traveler, Tarangire promises thrilling game drives and stunning scenery at every turn

On your visit to the Northern Serengeti, there’s a good chance that you will see big cats, elephants and more. Just as special as the animals you’ll see is the scenery you’ll get to explore. Far more so than elsewhere in the park, the north is dominated by rolling hills, mixed with grasslands and light forests. There’s also the Mara River which marks Tanzania’s border with Kenya.
There’s no better place to go on safari than the Serengeti. Wildlife fills the Unesco-listed park, and it’s especially known for big-cat sightings. The landscapes here are just as special, with acacia trees rising all across the savannah grass plains.

It’s time for you to get to know the Central Serengeti, one of the most wildlife-rich places in all of East Africa. All three big cats are commonly seen, as are many other animals, and the savannah grasslands interspersed with signature acacia trees is classic safari terrain. It can get busy, but it’s a vast area where you can easily find some solitude.
